Valeri Shljamin from The Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Finland believes that Finland will soon be one of Russia’s most important technology partners in different sectors. According to Shljamin, both countries have the conditions needed for developing investment cooperation and more flexible technology cooperation.
The opinion among the Russian and Finnish participants at Rubicon Forum was that the long-established business links between Finland and Russia will not break due to politics, and that it is necessary to adapt to temporary problems when planning long-term business connections.
Rubicon Forum was organised by Cursor Oy and Lahti’s regional development company Ladec Oy. Other Finnish participants included Tekes - The Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation, Invest in Finland and Team Finland.
