Pop-up shops offer the latest trends and seasonal products

Having gained a great deal of popularity in Finland and elsewhere in the world, the temporary retail concept has now been brought to Helsinki Airport.

Helsinki Airport's service environment perks up with pop-up shops. The goal is to make Helsinki Airport a smooth, functional airport, whose service environment is pleasant and experiential.

For new brands and companies, the pop-up concept provides an opportunity to test the sale of their products at the airport. Customers provide feedback on how to improve services, constantly giving the airport innovative ideas.

- For example, next year, when Helsinki will be the World Design Capital, young designers will have an outstanding opportunity to exploit the pop-up retail concept and showcase their talents for international passengers at the airport, says Jukka Isomäki Head of Commercial Services for Helsinki Airport.
