GrayMatter to open R&D unit in Finland

Dynamic Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and competent labour attracted GrayMatter to Finland.

GrayMatter, an Indian company specializing in business intelligence, analytics and data science, started its European operations by establishing a subsidiary in Finland. GrayMatter has also joined Airport Cluster Finland which promotes the growth and development of companies in the airport industry, and creates networking opportunities in the cluster.

GrayMatter is also opening a R&D unit in Vantaa in December 2013. According to GrayMatter, it decided to locate the R&D unit in Finland due to the dynamism of the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and the availability of competent labour. The new R&D unit will employ up to 30 people.

Welcome to Airport Cluster Finland

GrayMatter’s Airport Analytics solution AA+ provides airports a simple platform to analyze all available information and data, enabling fact based decision-making to users in smart report structures.

“We haven’t had this kind of know-how in Finland and among the Airport Cluster Finland member companies before. Graymatter's IT solution is greatly welcome and we are proud that they decided to start their operations in Europe from Finland,” says Airport Cluster Finland Manager Mikko Sjöberg. “GrayMatter’s service and solution is a great addition to the Cluster’s offering for airports and airlines.”
