Swedish-owned company Talking People Finland Oy has established a new unit in the town of Salo in south-western Finland, employing about 100 people. Talking People is an international Contact Center that offers its clients outsourced customer, sales and marketing services. The company has also operated in Helsinki since 2010, where it employs about 110 telesales and customer services staff.
“Salo offered us the best location in terms of affordability, cost structure and especially the availability of competent people,” says Claus Lindström, Business Manager at Talking People Finland. “We believe that Salo offers good preconditions for our business now and in the future.” Salo has a pool of skilled labour available due to restructuring in the area by Nokia.
B2B and B2C services
Talking People operates as a sales and customer services office for its clients and undertakes many different kinds of assignments on behalf of its clients, including B2B and B2C services. In addition to solution selling, the company can provide technical services, customer satisfaction surveys and appointment services.
Talking People’s clients in Finland include pay television operators, domestic and international consumer goods companies, and health product companies. Talking People also has a helpdesk unit in Helsinki that provides a 24/7 service in English for its clients’ customers.
