The Swedish budget shoe retailer Skopunkten will open its first stores in Finland in September. The stores will be located in the Myyrmanni shopping centre in Vantaa and the Koskikeskus shopping centre in the centre of Tampere. Skopunkten defines itself as a chain for price-conscious consumers who buy more than one pair of shoes at a time.
Skopunkten is part of the NilsonGroup, which is the largest shoe retailer in Scandinavia, with about 300 stores in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. NilsonGroup’s concept stores include Dinsko, Nilson Shoes, Jens and Radical Sports. The group’s turnover is EUR 300 million.
Skopunkten is currently looking for store managers in Vantaa and Tampere who can speak both Swedish and Finnish.
