The City of Vantaa in south Finland is organising a service architecture competition to promote innovations in public procurements and to find high standard service solutions and partnerships to build wellbeing services in the Marja-Vantaa area.
Marja-Vantaa is a new area that will be constructed for about 30,000 residents and 30,000 new workplaces in southern Finland. The area is located at the intersection of the new Ring Rail Line, Ring Road 3 and the Hämeenlinna motorway. The first residents will move to the area in 2014.
The services can be developed without the restrictions of existing structures. The service solutions to be found must be more customer-oriented, technologically advanced and economically sustainable than current operating models.
The competition is not looking for finished products as such but innovative ideas that will be developed in close cooperation with the City of Vantaa. The City of Vantaa has commissioned Ramboll Management Consulting Oy to implement the competition.
