The value of retail trade sales in Finland increased by 3.8% in July from the same month one year ago, according to Statistics Finland’s retail trade flash estimate. The volume of sales, from which the impact of prices has been eliminated, remained at the same level.
Statistics Finland’s retail trade flash estimate is based on a sample covering, on average, 50% of Finland’s retail trade turnover. Flash estimates on the retail trade are published at a lag of just under one month from the end of the statistical reference month.
