PRUPIM acquires first property in Finland

One of world’s leading investors purchases retail property located in Vantaa’s Tammisto retail area.

PRUPIM, part of the British M&G group and one of the world’s largest real estate investors, has acquired its first property in Finland. Prupim has purchased a commercial property located in the Tammisto retail area of Vantaa in Southern Finland from PG Finland North Oy and Sjaelso Finland Oy for EUR 19.8 million.

The property has 10,500 square metres of retail space and is currently occupied by Musta Pörssi, BYGGmax and JYSK which also has its headquarters in the building. The companies retail home electronics, construction materials and home furnishing products.

Prupim / M&G European Property Fund were advised in the deal by the Finnish office of Jones Lang LaSalle. Prupim manages assets of more than GBP 16 billion in 740 properties around the world.
