Varner Group, the Norwegian parent company of Dressman, is establishing its clothes retail chain Cubus in Finland, with up to ten stores opening in 2011. The first stores will appear in Myyrmanni shopping centre in Vantaa and Mylly shopping centre in Raisio, with the rest opening during a major launch in the autumn.
Cubus is one of Scandinavia’s largest fashion retail chains with clothes and accessories for men, women and children, and has more than 240 shops in Norway, Sweden, Poland, Latvia and Germany. In Finland Cubus will be targeting 20-30 year-old women with high quality clothes at reasonable prices – the same concept that has worked well for Dressmann, according to CEO Marius Varner. Dressmann is Northern Europe’s largest menswear company, with 400 shops in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Latvia, Iceland and Germany. After establishing Cubus in Finland, Varner Group may also introduce its BikBok stores catering for young women’s fashion.
