Ministers visit Team Finland’s stand at MWC

Over 40 Finnish hi-tech companies are represented at the Team Finland stand.

Team Finland’s stand has attracted a great deal of interest and positive attention at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona this week. In addition to thousands of congress participants, Team Finland’s stand has been visited by several Finnish government ministers this week. More than 40 Finnish hi-tech companies are represented at the stand where demos, pitches and presentations are taking place throughout the week.

On Tuesday, Team Finland’s stand was visited by Pia Viitanen, Minister of Housing and Communications, and Krista Kiuru, Minister of Education and Science. Kiuru also held a press event at the stand about the collaboration between Finland and Estonia for developing educational cloud services that will bring together electronic learning materials and learning applications, and will significantly step up both educational and technological cooperation between the countries.

Alexander Stubb, Finland’s Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade, met with start-up companies at the Team Finland stand on Wednesday and discussed foreign investment in Finland.
