Yepzon develops easy-to-use positioning services and smart clothing applications. The Finnish company is growing at a record speed. The company’s first product, Yepzon One, was launched in December 2014. This easily adopted product offers reliability and boasts an unbeatable battery life. Made in Finland, the GPS locator is designed specifically with families with children in mind, but there is also a high demand for the product among, for instance, the elderly and enthusiasts of different hobbies and activities.
“The journey from an idea to a finished product took from January to November 2014. Our product development continues, and in the future, we are also aiming to introduce new products and applications to the market at a rapid pace,” says Yepzon’s founder, Otto Linna.
Tekes, the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation, has just chosen Yepzon for its “Young Innovative Company” program thanks to Yepzon’s furious growth and immense international growth potential.
Currently, Yepzon has over 200 retailers around Europe. Yepzon’s Finnish distribution partner is ALSO Finland. New distribution partners include Nital S.p.A. in Italy, and NVY Distribution in France, Spain, and the Benelux countries. The product will also be released in the US during this spring.
“Together with our partners, we have set our sights on approximately 2,000 Yepzon outlets in Europe alone by the end of the year,” Mr. Linna explains.
