Itäkeskus is biggest shopping centre in the Helsinki region

Helsinki’s three biggest shopping centres had total sales of more than EUR 1 billion in 2010.

Jumbo shopping centre is located on the Ring Road III at the airport exit in Vantaa. It has a leasable area of 85,000 square metres with 120 speciality stores, K-Citymarket and Prisma hypermarkets, as well as 4,600 car parking spaces. Jumbo is owned by Unibail-Rodamco, Pension Fennia, Kesko and HOK-Elanto.

Sello shopping centre is located in the Leppävaara district of Espoo. It has a total surface area of 102,000 square metres and more than 170 shops and services, a concert hall, library, and 2900 parking spaces. Sello has been awarded the gold-level LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Existing Buildings certificate for ecologically sustainable operations – the first shopping centre in Europe to receive the certificate. Sello is owned by Keva, Pension-Fennia and Etera.
