A new web service has been launched by the STOK Electrical Building Services Centre in Finland for people who are building their own houses. The Talotekniikkainfo.fi website helps self-builders compare and select technical equipment for their new homes, and shows the importance of holistic planning and technology choices from the start of the project. The service also includes a national register for finding local electrical planners, architectural planners and water technology, heating, ventilation and air conditioning planners.
