The centralization of air filtration production to Kausala creates about 50 jobs. The expansion project will start already this year and the facility will be fully operational in summer 2013. Air filtration manufacturing will be transferred from Orimattila factory to the new facility at the same time.
“Expansion of manufacturing in Kausala will bring us synergy benefits. In addition, it will improve the efficiency of manufacturing and will create broader career opportunities for our personnel,” says Tuomas Qvick, Halton’s Director of Nordic region.
Halton’s air filtration business has grown and developed very positively during the last years. The aim is to ensure excellent customer service in Finland and in Scandinavia as a whole. The investment brings needed capacity to better match the growing demand in Scandinavian market.
