The first ever Baltic Sea Health Summit BSHS 2014 will be held in Finland, in the city of Turku on 3-5 June 2014, highlighting EU-Baltic Sea health-bio cooperation with Finland as the gateway. Under the theme “Turning science into business for tomorrow’s health and well-being”, the event will offer new ideas for business, product development and financing as well as opportunities for partnering.
BSHS2014 is aimed at people working in the biotechnology field in Russia and the EU from companies, research institutions, educational and governmental organisations. Topics on the programme include financing, biobanks, diagnostics, regulatory issues and partnering. The event is organised by Turku Science Park Ltd and cooperation partners City of Turku, University of Turku, Åbo Akademi University, Turku University of Applied Sciences, Turku Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise Europe Network, Skolkovo and RVC.
