Finnish cleantech companies win 2012 Later Stage Awards

ZenRobotics and Galvatek are selected as winners from a pool of 10,000 eligible companies.

The Finnish companies ZenRobotics Ltd and Galvatek have have been selected as winners of the 2013 Later Stage Awards by the Global Cleantech Cluster Association. ZenRobotics emerged as the winner of the Best in Waste Management category and Galvatek of the Best in Water category.

The Later Stage Award winners were selected from an original pool of 10,000 eligible companies represented by the Global Cleantech Cluster Association’s 49 member clusters. They were judged by 22 cleantech venture capitalists, investors and serial entrepreneurs who collectively manage USD 3.5 billion in clean technology investment, led by Head Judge Dr. Peter Adriaens.

Waste and water expertise

ZenRobotics’ artificial intelligence controlled robotic recycling system reclaims valuable raw materials from construction and demolition waste. A number of the systems have been sold and are being installed through a global reseller network in 49 countries.

Galvatek is one of the leading suppliers of automated high quality surface treatment and water treatment plants with more than 600 delivered and serviced plants in 35 different countries around the world. Over 30 years of active presence in the market has provided Galvatek with an outstanding knowledge of the surface treatment industry.
