Finland’s retail trade sales up by 1.1% in October

Discount retailer Tokmanni Group has opened nine new stores in Finland this year.

Tokmanni Group, Finland’s largest discount retailer, has opened nine new stores this year, with the two latest stores opening their doors in Vaasa and Harjavalta on 27 November. New store are planned to open in Loviisa, Orivesi, Jämsä and Kemi next year. Tokmanni Group now has a total of 145 stores in seven different store chains: Tokmanni, Tarjoustalo, Vapaa Valinta, Robinhood, Maxi-Makasiini, Maxi-Kodintukku and Säästöpörssi.

“More customers are visiting our stores and our sales have also grown compared to last year. Together, these facts show that our customers value our low prices and diverse product selection,” says Tokmanni Group’s CEO Heikki Väänänen.
