Finland’s national output grew by 4.9% in July

Primary production up by 7%, secondary production by 4% and services by 5%.

Finland’s national output grew by 4.9% in July 2011 compared to the same period one year ago, according to Statistics Finland. Primary production, including agriculture, forestry and fishing, is estimated to have grown by 7% from July 2010. Secondary production, including manufacturing and construction, went up by 4%. Services comprising of trade, hotel and restaurant activities, transport and business activities, real estate, renting and research services, financial intermediation and insurance, and public services, grew by 5%.

According to Statistics Finland, seasonally adjusted output grew by 0.2% in July from the month before. Working-day adjusted output grew in June by 2.8% from the same month one year earlier.
