British investors to build holiday accommodation worth EUR 20 milllion in Finland

Direct charter flights from London will bring British holidaymakers to the scenic Kainuu region in north-eastern Finland.

A company founded by five British investors is planning to build 200-300 holiday accommodation units in two or three locations in the Kainuu region in north-eastern Finland. The company headed by Martin Betts is exploring investment opportunities in the Vuokatti, Ukkohalla and Kuhmo areas of Kainuu. He is planning to bring British tourists to Kainuu with direct charter flights, and hopes the first holiday-makers will already arrive in time for the 2010-2011 skiing season.
