Consultancy companies are doing well in Finland

Deloitte, KPMG and Pricewaterhouse Coopers expect continued growth this year.

International consulting companies operating in Finland are expecting a good year for growth, especially in auditing, tax and advice services. Deloitte Finland is reporting double-digit growth during its current financial year, perhaps as high as 15%, with the company’s turnover expected to reach almost EUR 60 million. According to Teppo Rantanen, managing director of Deloitte Finland, the demand for corporate finance services is increasing and global companies are also looking for acquisition targets in Finland.

KPMG has enjoyed excellent financial results in Finland, with the company reporting growth in auditing, tax and advice services. According to Ari Eskelinen, Chief Accountant at KPMG, last year was the best ever for the company’s auditing services which he also expects to grow by almost 10% in 2012. Eskelinen says that the current economic uncertainties are not visible in his calendar.

PricewaterhouseCoopers reported over 5% growth during the last financial year, with its turnover reaching a total of EUR 91.4 million. According to Kim Karhu, managing director of PwC in Finland, the demand for advice services increased by about 20%. He says that companies in Finland are now especially interested in tax consultancy and advice services regarding acquisitions.
