High quality staff and flexibility make hired labour attractive to companies in Finland.
Currently only about 1% of the Finnish workforce is employed as hired labour, but this is expected to double in the near future if Finland follows the trend in other industrialised countries. About 2-3% of employment consists of outsourced labour in other EU countries .
In Finland thousands of new employees are currently being hired from the employment services industry as the national economy recovers fast from the recession. Many employers believe that the trend will continue thanks to the quality of staff offered by the agencies and the flexibility that outsourced labour offers to companies compared to taking on permanently employed staff.
