Finnish consumers are spending more on their homes and gardens as home construction recovers from the recession.
Tammi believes that this is just the beginning as the recovery in home construction will also be reflected in more interior decoration activity. Finnish consumers are spending more and more in design, gardens and balconies and the use of interior designers is becoming more popular. Clothes retailers have also started investing in interior decoration. For example, H&M already has its Home stores in Helsinki and Stockholm.
