Survey by eBay shows Finnish consumers are ready to buy from an international auction site if prices are 20% lower.
This year eBay has also opened localised versions of its website in the Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece, Norway, Russia and Sweden. The quantity of products sold has increased by 40%, according to eBay.
A study by The Federation of Finnish Commerce shows that Finnish consumers have started using international online stores more often, with men under 40 years old being the most active shoppers. The most popular products are sports equipment, computer software and products related to specialist hobbies.
