Medisize and sanofi-aventis are developing their partnership in Finland.

Sanofi-aventis insulin injection pens offer diabetes patients a convenient way to manage their condition. Medisize has been involved in the pen components production line for sanofi-aventis and worked in very close cooperation with the customer for manufacturing, tooling design, moulding and automatic assembly. The pens components were first manufactured at Medisize’s plant in Kontiolahti, Finland.

Given the successful production by Medisize of insulin pens components so far, additional capacity will be set up at the Kontiolahti plant. This project underlines the long-term partnership between Medisize and sanofi-aventis.

Medisize CEO Willem van den Bruinhorst commented: "The order for new production equipment is very important for Medisize.
