Invest in Finland was Google’s long-term partner in the investment process.
Google Inc and Stora Enso have announced that the purchase of the Summa Mill site in Hamina by Google has been closed.
The possibility to utilize the factory space in Summa was discovered by Invest in Finland, which has been Google’s long-term partner in the investment process. The Summa region was selected after comparing many different alternatives. Regional Development Company Cursor Oy acted as the local partner in the Hamina region.
"Invest in Finland supported us from the start, and during the process offered us alternative solutions for the investment; Summa Mill was the best one for us”, says Rhett Weiss from Google Inc.
